French Toast Casserole – Sweet & Custardy


📝 Ingredients (6 Servings):

• 5 cups cubed day-old bread

• 1½ cups milk

• 4 eggs

• ½ cup sugar

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• ½ tsp cinnamon

• Pinch of salt



🔥 Instructions:

  1. In a greased baking dish, add cubed bread.

  2. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. Pour over bread. Gently press down to soak.

  4. Cover and refrigerate overnight if possible.

5. Bake at 350°F for 40–50 minutes until puffed and golden.

• Top with fresh berries or maple syrup

• Swap white bread with croissants for a richer bite
